Domain suggestion tool

Give us a word and we build a batch of candidates from fixed prefixes and suffixes, then check the whole batch at once.

Letters, digits and hyphens only.

Endings

Your keyword is combined with these endings, up to 300 domains per search.

About these suggestions

  • Candidates come from fixed prefixes and suffixes. Whether one suits you is your call - we do not claim each is a good fit.
  • Results are ordered with available names first. A name shown as not checked means the registry did not answer this time.
  • Prices shown are Ry.hk’s own list prices; the cart is what you actually pay.

How it works

01

Enter one word

Letters, digits and hyphens only, up to 40 characters.

02

We build candidates

Fixed prefixes, suffixes and hyphenated forms are built around the word you typed.

03

All checked at once

The whole batch goes in one submission, ordered with available names first.

Alternatives when the first choice is gone

Candidates are built around the word you typed, and their availability is checked in the same pass.

Sorted by availability

Available names come first and anything unconfirmed is marked separately, so there is nothing to open one by one.

Order straight from the result

Available candidates carry a price and a registration link; the one you like goes into the cart.

A source you can check

Candidates come from fixed prefix and suffix rules that are written out on the page; it does not pretend to be data mining.

Candidates are built from fixed rules

Knowing the source tells you how to use them

  • The keyword itself comes first; if it is free it is usually the best answer.
  • Suffixes - hub, lab, works, studio, base, now, hq - say what the thing is.
  • Prefixes - get, go, my, try, use, join - say how it is used.
  • Plurals and variants - s, ing, ly - cover how people mishear or mistype a name.

The rules are fixed, they do not use an external model, and they do not search trademark registers. Run a trademark search before using a name commercially.

What the results do and do not tell you

Certain, and not

ResultWhat it confirmsWhat it does not
AvailableThe registry answered that it is free right nowThat it is still free in a few minutes - somebody else may register it
TakenThe registry answered that it has a holderWhether that holder would sell, or for how much
UnconfirmedThe registry did not answer this timeAnything - unconfirmed is not available

Common questions

How many candidates does one run produce?

It depends on the keyword and on how many endings are ticked, and the page states the ceiling. More endings means more candidates and a slower check, so start with the common ones.

Why are there no better sounding combinations?

This tool works on word forms only - prefixes, suffixes, plurals and common variants - and does not do meaning. To describe the business instead, try Domain ideas.

Can someone else take a suggested name first?

Yes. A check reserves nothing, so a name registered before you order belongs to whoever got there first. If you want it, order it.

Can I check only a few endings?

Yes. Use select popular endings to tick the common ones at once, tick them by hand, or clear the lot and start again.

Where do these names come from?

From a fixed list of prefixes and suffixes: hub, lab or shop behind the word, get, my or go in front of it. All of them are built around the word you typed. Whether one suits you is your call.

Why is the list not longer?

One word produces 60 candidates, multiplied by the endings you tick. The cap is 300, and beyond that only the first 300 are checked.

The .com I wanted is taken. Now what?

Look at the other endings in the same batch first. If you still want .com, try a different word for another round, or see whether the name is listed in the marketplace.
