This policy explains which cookies this website uses, why, and how you can control them. How we handle personal data generally is described in the Privacy Policy.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site remember that you are signed in, and preferences such as your language and currency. We also use closely related storage (such as browser local storage) for interface settings; this policy refers to all of it as cookies.
2. The cookies we use
| Type | What it does | Consent needed |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in (session cookie), prevents cross-site request forgery (CSRF), remembers a "remember me" choice, and carries an order through checkout and payment. Without them the account and checkout cannot work. | No - required to deliver the service |
| Preference | Remembers your language (Simplified Chinese / Traditional Chinese / English), display currency (USD / HKD / CNY) and light or dark theme. | No - only stores your own choice |
| Analytics | We use none. We run no third-party analytics or advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no remarketing and no behavioural profiling. | - |
3. Third parties
- Payment providers: when you reach a payment page, the payment provider may set its own cookies on its own page for fraud checks and to take the payment. Those cookies are governed by its policy and we cannot read the data in them.
- The fonts and icons on this site are served from our own servers, so no request is made to a third-party content network.
4. Managing cookies
You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies
- Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions
- Safari: Preferences › Privacy
- Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security
Please note that blocking the strictly necessary cookies means you cannot sign in or complete an order. Clearing cookies signs you out and resets your language, currency and theme preferences.
5. How long they last
- Session cookies: expire when you close the browser.
- "Remember me" cookie: up to 30 days, or until you sign out.
- Preference cookies: up to 12 months.
