Backorders

Queue for registered domains that may be deleted when they expire. If the registry releases one, we attempt to register it automatically within the limit you set.

The registrar returned nothing.

Add a backorder

One per line, or comma separated, up to 100 at a time. A backorder says you agree to pay if it is caught; nothing is charged yet.

About backorders

  • A backorder is for a name about to be released. One that has expired but is still in redemption is on the expired closeout list instead.
  • It is not a guarantee: registries do not publish the moment a name drops, and when several parties try only one gets it.
  • A caught name has to be paid for at the listed price, out of the registrar account balance rather than through Ry.hk cart.
