The full terms are on the site. This page answers the version of the question people ask in a ticket: what actually gets an account suspended, and what happens when it does. The things that lead to suspension Unpaid invoices. A domain that is not paid for does not renew, and a service that is not paid for is suspended. The terms set out how long you have, and the finance pages show what is outstanding. Abuse. Spam, phishing, malware, fraud, or using a domain in a way that breaks the acceptable use policy. Registration data that is false or cannot be verified. ICANN rules require accurate registrant data, and a domain whose details cannot be verified can be suspended. Attempts to break into systems, ours or anybody else s, including trying to reach data that is not yours. Chargebacks that are upheld. If a payment is reversed after the service was delivered, we may suspend the service and recover the cost the payment provider charged us. Legal orders. Where a court or a competent authority requires it, we comply to the extent required. What suspension is not It is not a way to make you pay a disputed bill. If your account has no outstanding balance, a domain can be transferred out at any time, and the terms say so explicitly. What happens to your data and your domains We keep what the law requires and what is needed to resolve the matter. Domains that are yours and not in dispute remain transferable. Where a service is terminated, refund conditions are set out in the cancellation and refund policy. Changing the terms New versions are published with an effective date. Material changes are also notified by email or in the client area. If you do not accept a change, you can stop using the service before it takes effect. Which law applies The terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction named in them, and disputes go to the courts named there. If something in them is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
